Payroll Direct Deposit

At Union State Bank we can make direct deposit of your payroll easy and convenient.  This service is available to any business customer with a Union State Bank Business Checking Account.  Features of this service include:

• Payroll Direct Deposit with Union State Bank allows any employer to deposit payroll checks to an employee's checking or savings account at any financial institution throughout the country.  We don't allow deposits to be made to foreign institutions.

• It is designed to work with any payroll system that can generate National Automated Clearing House Association File (NACHA or ACH) or any program that can print reports to disk file.  We can also accept specially formatted Excel Spreadsheet, Microsoft Access or Works databases.

• The file must be delivered to the Bank via secure email by 3:00 p.m. the business day preceding the day of deposit. For example:

• If you pay employees on Friday, we would need the file no later than 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.  If you pay your employees on Monday, we would need the file no later than 3:00 p.m. on Friday.

 

• We can only deposit funds to the employees accounts on normal banking days, which are Monday-Friday.  There are some Federal Holidays we can't deposit on as well.  These are:  New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Day, President's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veteran's Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas.

• The funds are pulled from your checking account the day we make the deposit to your employee accounts.

• The cost for this service is 5 cents per deposit with a monthly minimum of $25.00.  The charge will be included on your monthly account analysis statement.
